START offers a variety of volunteer opportunities and social gatherings for its members.  Our members work hard to better our community, but like to have fun too.

START does require members to actively participate in at least one fundraising or outreach event per year, and encourages members to suggest nonprofit organizations for our organization to support.

 

We do not hold monthly meetings. Communication between gatherings is done via email and our monthly newsletter. A yearly membership meeting is held in December.

 

Household memberships are defined as no more than three (3) people.  Household members must live at the same address unless one member has caregiver responsibility for a family member living outside the household. All members must be at least 18 years of age.

Membership dues are used for organizational expenses, office supplies, and any expenses incurred with START outreach projects. It should be noted, however, that all net proceeds from our managed fundraisers and events and all monetary donations received for a supported charity are always given to that charity in its entirety.
